Dear Sirs, we attended Las Iguanas in Mill Lane, Cardiff on Saturday for bottomless brunch which was very good however when the bill came, the three of us paid cash only to be told it was card only, none of us had cards on us so this was going to be a problem, the manager was called and he told us that apparently he had told us on arrival that it was cash only but I don’t recall hearing that in fact I couldn’t understand anything he said through the mask over his mouth, after a few frantic phone calls he said he would use his own card to pay our bill and take the card which Is not really acceptable but we had no other option. I can’t see anywhere on your website that says cash isn’t accepted, also why as it’s still legal tender as far as I’m aware. I look forward to your reply. Karen Davies.

Me and my son attended Las Iguanas , mill lane, Cardiff on Easter Sunday on the 17/04/2022. The food we ordered was ok but I think the staff lack proper training . When I finished my food one member of staff(tall girl) came to collect the plates and while picking up the sauce bowl chucked the mint sauce on me and my trousers were soaked in mint sauce which was quite embarrassing in front of other people. I don’t know whether she did this intentionally or due to lack of proper training and I requested to have some money off the bill for this embarrassment but there was no reply.why? Even my son asked again ….no reply…I didn’t want to get upset and react at that moment with the staff and thought I would rather make a complaint with the Complaints department online. I do have the receipt with me and the feedback code as well. I have paid by card. I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends to this restaurant. This was the first and last time we visited this place. Not again. I would like the complaints manager to intervene and sort this out. Just an apology after chucking sauce at a customer doesn’t make any sense….I have got the receipt with the feedback code on it but the website is all about the food but no separate section for complaints…..Embarrassing….

We had waited 40 minutes for the table. When we seated I can see whole restaurant was empty. So restaurant pretend to be busy.
Food we ordered was well below average.
We get charged for the food we sent back due to quality and taste.
At the end restaurant introduce us person called jack as a manger who do not have aclue how to deal with customers.
At the end we paid £150 for the well below average food.
I think we will avoid las iguana for our future visits

We visited LI in Brindley place in Birmingham on Saturday, we were shown table by other waiter Ryan, we explained we just wanted drinks and he was fine, he needed table back after 1 and half hours which was totally fine. 10 mins later, Zef (manager) and told us we couldn’t sit there unless we ordered 6 courses and that we had 10 mins to leave! His manner was very aggressive. He stormed off to have a go at the other waiters, I told him he was being very rude and he said, fine, get out! I won’t serve you then he proceeded to tell the bar staff not to serve me, they all looked confused and embarrassed, I was confused and felt scared. Ryan came to check how I was and told me to sit down and that he would get me a drink. I felt like leaving but I hadn’t done anything wrong and felt like I was attacked for no reason. We stayed for a drink ( which Ryan gave us for free) after popping to the loo, Zef the waiter was stood by my chair and wouldn’t move so I couldn’t sit down, I had to slide past him and it was so uncomfortable. All the other waiters, drinks and atmosphere was great but ruined by one very aggressive manager.
