30 November 2017 small tank in loft leaked resulting in water damage to airing cupboard, en-suite, bedroom, landing, stairwell, hall ceilings. Walls also affected. Handrail come away from the wall. Rang More Than no problem, valid water damage claim. Send in two quotes. I obtained and sent in quote. Next thing was an email/message asking me to contact Cunningham Lindsey as my claim has been passed to them. When I enquired as to why I was told estimate was high (nearly £4000). I wasn’t asked to get another lower estimate. I just feel that More Than have just ‘washed their hands’ of my claim. Cunningham Lindsey Adjuster came and said the amount of claim equates to £654.26!! and that one person could do all this work in two days!! I do not agree with this figure. I have been emailing CL with another quote still not had any replies to emails sent to this shambolic company. Or Telephone calls.

Shoddy customer care.
Since mid December been chasing them to correct the NCD in the renewal so as to give to the new insurance company- but nothing. Made 3 phone calls in last 2 weeks- each time they fob you off with “someone will resolve this/call you in next 2 days”. Mon Jan 18th received an email saying a complaints team member will ring me in 24-48 hours, and today Jan 19th-I rang and was told “someone from complaints team will ring you in 72 hours! The operator would connect me to anyone directly.
Awful customer care. No wonder I moved to another insurance company.
